INTER VALLEY HEALTH PLAN SUPPORTS RIVERSIDE SENIORS WITH MEDICARE INFORMATION & VITALITY CENTER
New Center Will Serve as Valuable Resource to Seniors for Medicare Decision-Making
RIVERSIDE, Calif., September 2, 2010 – Inter Valley Health Plan (www.IVHP.com), a Pomona-based Medicare Advantage Organization, is proud to announce the opening of its Medicare Information & Vitality Center located at the Heritage Plaza, 5266 Arlington Ave., Riverside, 92504. The Medicare Information Center will be opening on Tuesday, September 14, 2009, to assist in keeping local seniors informed and provide them with the tools to make knowledgeable decisions when it comes to their Medicare coverage.
“We are excited about our growth into the Riverside area.” said Inter Valley Health Plan Vice President, Cyndie O’Brien. “This new location will allow us to provide unbiased Medicare information and allow local seniors to make informed decisions with regards to their health options.”
During the Medicare Annual Open Enrollment (Nov. 15 – Dec. 31, 2010), seniors have a limited period of time to make changes or additions to their Medicare plan. If they fail to do so, they will be rolled into their current plan for a full year until the following year’s enrollment period. Not changing plans could be an expensive mistake to some as some plans rates are expected to increase.
With the new Inter Valley Health Plan Medicare Information & Vitality Center, Riverside seniors will have one-on-one access to a Medicare Specialist anytime Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Inter Valley’s Medicare Specialists help assist current and new Medicare recipients in learning more about Medicare during the Annual Election Period, to allow the best decision for each individual.
