INTER VALLEY HEALTH PLAN SEARCHES FOR MASTER OF CEREMONIES
TO LEAD SIGNATURE EVENTS
POMONA, Calif., July 21, 2010 – Inter Valley Health Plan (www.IVHP.com), a non-profit Medicare Advantage health plan, is searching for its new Master of Ceremonies to help lead four to five company events each year, including the signature senior talent shows and Silver Screenings.
“We are excited at the idea of finding our new talent and creating a voice for our membership and senior community at-large,” said Cyndie O’Brien, vice president of sales, marketing and communications for Inter Valley Health Plan “It is our goal to find someone who is fun and embodies the spirit of health aging and vitality can relate to our adult audiences.”
The Inter Valley Health Plan M.C. Search auditions will be held on August 31, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the James L. Brulte Senior Center (11200 Baseline Road, Rancho Room, Rancho Cucamonga). Participants will be given a short three-minute mock script to follow and a panel of judges will evaluate them on the following criteria:
Ability to work well with seniors
Capability to ad-lib and be engaging with an audience in an interactive setting
Must be witty and possess comedic skills, as well as have a dynamic upbeat personality
Possessing a personal talent, such as singing, dancing playing an instrument, etc., is a plus.
All entrants must be 55 years or older, and have transportation to be able to host events throughout Inter Valley Health Plan’s service areas, which stretch from Pomona and Palm Springs to Riverside, Hemet, Victorville, Temecula, and virtually every city and town in between. This is a paid position and there maybe additional opportunities in the future.
