Happy New Year! It’s a great time to set new goals for a healthier lifestyle, and Inter Valley Health Plan is here to help. What’s new for your healthcare in 2010? Just refer to the chart on page 7 (also above) to see which benefits might better fit your needs and your lifestyle, and then call our Member Services representatives to discuss which options will work for you.
Service To Seniors (HMO)
Service To Seniors offers an optional supplemental dental benefit for a low monthly premium. Current Service To Senior members have until March 31, 2010 to enroll in the supplemental dental plan benefit. The Plan also offers extensive prescription coverage with a higher initial coverage limit and lower copayments.
Total Fit Plan (HMO)
Our Total Fit Plan offers you acupuncture and chiropractic care. You can join a gym at no extra cost to you. You can have fun getting fit at a participating gym near you. Total Fit includes a comprehensive Dental Cover age Plan, with a $0 premium and low copays.
Desert Preferred Choice (HMO)
Through Desert Oasis Healthcare, the Plan offers $0 copay on many services including doctor office visits, inpatient hospital care, outpatient rehabilitation services and more. Other programs included are a Medication Management Program, a Diabetes Monitoring Program and more health management programs. This Plan is available in Riverside County only through Desert Oasis Healthcare.
Focus SNP (HMO)
Focus SNP (HMO) is a Special Needs Plan (SNP) designed for those who have been diagnosed (by a physician) with diabetes and/or chronic heart failure. This plan uses our care management program to help you manage your chronic illness. We have added an optional supplemental dental plan in 2010 for a low monthly premium. If you wish to participate in the optional dental benefits plan the deadline is March 31, 2010.
