Dance Your Way to Better Health

Dancing is a good way to improve your body and mind. It can increase strength, flexibility and endurance, while flooding your brain with all those great endorphins that come with exercise. In addition to the physical benefits, dancing can help you connect with people and boost your self-esteem.

Tips to get you grooving:
  • Call your local Senior Center to find out if they offer group dance classes.
  • Check out Community Colleges or Universities in your area, as they will often offer dance classes.
  • Search online for dance meet-up groups, dance studios, or venues that offer special  dancing events.
  • Check out the Inter Valley Health Plan Vitality Events for dances like the Senior Proms and the Harvest Moon Dance.
